Dress Code
Dress Code On The Course
The Club wishes to ensure that the standard of dress on the Course and in the practice area is maintained at a high level and appropriate for playing golf. The dress code on the Course is:-
(1) Players should wear neat and appropriate golf clothes. Soft spikes are required. Tailored shorts are permitted.
(2) Unacceptable clothing includes the following:
- Beach, gym or athletic wear
- Tracksuit
- Denim trousers
- Combat trousers or shorts
- Sleeveless shirts for Men
- Hoodies
- Collarless shirts
- Rugby or football shirts
- Runners or trainers
Members are responsible for ensuring their Visitors adhere to this dress code.
Breaches of the above should be reported to the Honorary Secretary or to any member of the Management Committee. It is expected that the implementation of this dress code will be effected with courtesy and common sense. Breaches should be reported where necessary to the Honorary Secretary or to any member of the Management Committee.
Dress Code In The Clubhouse
(1) Smart casual dress is required at all times on the first floor
(2) Tailored shorts are acceptable in the Bar until 20.00 hrs
(3) Smart denim is acceptable in the Bar but not in the Dining Room
(4) Male members are encouraged to wear a jacket and tie at the Principal Dinner
(5) Unacceptable clothing on the first floor includes:
- Tracksuits
- Combat trousers or shorts
- Runners or stocking feet
- Unacceptable golf wear
Members are required to ensure that their children are smartly dressed.
Members who introduce visitors shall ensure that such visitors shall comply with the dress code.
It is expected that the implementation of this dress code will be effected with courtesy and common sense. Breaches should be reported where necessary to the Honorary Secretary or to any member of the Management Committee.
